The Institute for Digital Technologies offers excellence in research and postgraduate teaching across major areas of digital technologies, including interactive media systems, mobile networks, Internet of Things, cyber security, big data and smart living concepts.

PhD students with the Institute for Digital Technologies are provided with unrivalled access to industry partners, and participate in large scale international collaborative projects. Digital Technologies MRes

Students who choose an MRes in Digital Technologies will receive guidance from academics leading research in the fields of internet and multimedia technology. Academics will share their expertise on Internet and Communication Networks and Fundamentals of Multimedia Signals, to enable students to gain specialised knowledge of these fields.
