Loughborough University London is located inside Here East, an inspiring innovation hub on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Travelling via Stratford stations

A free shuttle bus service connects Here East to all major transport stations in Stratford, London. The service is available to anyone travelling to and from Here East, and runs every 5 minutes from 7am until 11pm, Monday to Friday, and every 15 minutes from 9am until 6pm on Saturdays. The bus operates from Stratford International bus stop F and Stratford City bus stop X, and will take approximately 5 minutes to reach Here East (Bus stop in The Yard). The buses are clearly marked 'Here East'. 

Stratford bus station, Stratford rail station, Stratford DLR and Stratford underground stations are located in close proximity to Stratford City bus stop X. On arrival at one of these stations, please follow the signs towards Westfield Stratford City and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. If you are using the underpass, exit the station and turn right before you reach Stratford City bus station. Stratford City bus stop X is on the opposite side of Montfichet Road. If you are using the bridge over the railway tracks, when you reach the end of the bridge, walk down the stairs on the right hand side and cross Montfichet Road when you reach the bottom. Stratford City bus stop X is located here, opposite Stratford Place. Please allow 5 minutes for this journey.

Travelling by train or London Underground (Tube)

The closest stations to the campus are Stratford Station and Stratford International Station. Both stations offer step free access from the entrance to the platform.

Travel from Stratford International Station to London St Pancras International Station in fewer than seven minutes using Southeastern Trains. St Pancras International Station provides connections to thousands of locations across the UK and Europe, including Paris, Brussels, Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff and Edinburgh.

Travelling by London Overground

The closest station to the campus is Hackney Wick Overground Station, which is just minutes from the campus.

Travelling by bus

The following buses operate services to and from venues on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The campus map above gives routes from each of the venues to the campus.

Bus information

The 388 bus runs between Blackfriars in central London and Stratford City, near Stratford station. The 388 bus stops directly outside of our campus and also travels to the Copper Box Arena and the London Aquatics Centre.

The 308 bus runs between Clapton to Wanstead, via Stratford City, near Stratford station. The bus also travels to the flats in East Village, which are less than 10 minutes’ walk from the campus.

The 339 bus runs between Leytonstone and Shadwell, and stops at Stratford City, near Stratford station. The bus also travels to the London Aquatics Centre, which is just minutes from the campus.

The D8 bus runs between Crossharbour and Stratford International bus station. The bus also travels to Pool Street, by the London Aquatics Centre, which is just minutes away from the campus.

Buses travelling to Stratford Bus Station and Stratford City Bus Station

Stratford bus station and Stratford City bus station are both located in close proximity to Loughborough University London. On arrival at either station, we advise taking a short walk to Stratford International Station and catching the free shuttle to the campus, which operates to and from HereEast at Stratford International stop E, and Stratford City Station stop X.

Travelling by car

Loughborough University London has fast links to Central London and the south and east of England, with easy access to the A11, A12, A13, A102, A406, M11 and M25.

Westfield Stratford City has around 4,500 parking spaces in three car parks over 15 levels. All of the car parks have easy access to the campus via the free shuttle bus, which operates from Stratford International Station's bus stop E.
