Leaving the University

Before you leave the University, please take a moment to check that your personal contact details are up to date and you do not need to retrieve information or documents from your University IT account.

Closing your IT account

At the end of your studies, your IT user account will enter a 30-day expiry period.  During this time, you should back up any documents currently stored within your University One Drive, retrieve any emails within your University email account and redeem any unused printer credits.

You will need to do this even if you are returning for another programme of study.  If any external accounts or documents contain your University email address, remember to change this to a personal email address before the end of your 30-day expiry period.

Graduate Outcomes Survey

A new national survey will be launched in 2018 to gather a range of information about the future progression and perspectives of university graduates.  Graduates will be contacted approximately 15 months after graduation and your insights will help current and future students to make informed choices about their future.

To facilitate the survey, the University is required to hold accurate contact details for you. Once you have graduated from the University, please ensure that our records are kept up to date so that you can take part in the survey. You will be able to access the Self Service portal up until the date of your programme board.
