Why should someone choose Loughborough University London and your programme in particular?
The media programmes at Loughborough University London are among the top programmes in the UK and even the world. The teaching quality here is beyond doubt. Moreover, I have the opportunity to attend the classes of Professor Graham Murdock and Professor Toby Miller, and learn from their expertise in media. Other professors gave excellent lectures too, and I have also experienced taking classes with students from another university and communicating online to brainstorm new ideas. In addition to ordinary courses, the Collaborative Project module is set up to provide students with opportunities to co-operate with real enterprises. What's more, there are regular career guidance courses on the London campus, which can also give students some advice when we are looking for jobs.
Futhermore, the location of the campus is also very good and living there is convenient. It takes just half an hour to get to the heart of London and experience the attraction of this capital city.
How has Loughborough University London inspired you and helped you to progress in your career?
Firstly, my study experience here has proved that my academic level and personal ability are excellent among my peers. And then, I also received relevant help and employment guidance arranged by the university, which showed me how to showcase my skills in my resume and interviews. Finally, the university provided relevant employment opportunities for reference regularly. I believe that I can find a satisfactory job with the help of the university both in the UK and back in my home country.
Tell us about your most memorable experience on your course
My most memorable experience was the course taught by my tutor, Professor Thomas Tufte. In his class, he arranged for each of us to give a speech. The lecture was to introduce the academic articles we had read and add our own understanding, and to discuss with other students. In this course, I developed a deeper understanding of my course and better understood the difference between academic research at graduate level and undergraduate level, and also understood the direction of my efforts in the future study, which provided a lot of ideas for my dissertation.
Tell us about your career journey so far and the company/organisation you are currently working for.

What do you love the most about your current job?
It is my great honor to work in a top language university in China, and in the school corresponding to my major, I can also apply what I have learned during my time at Loughborough University London. In addition, I like the working environment of the university very much which encourages me to keep learning and be ready to face new challenges at any time.
Any final thoughts?
I think it was the right decision for me to complete my master's degree in Loughborough University London, and I am very grateful for my choice. Even though it's only been a year, the meaning it has given me and the impact it has had on my life has been tremendous.
