I ultimately chose Loughborough University London because they offered a unique blend of practical business learning, hackathons, networking and coordinated this with different disciplines like design, technology and sport. I think any post-graduate course is about taking your academic or professional career to the next-level. The resources, dedication and the “dare to fail” attitude I saw at LUL meant I knew I’d have a whole team and university supporting my career.

Loughborough University London helped me develop my character which I think was a defining reason for where I am professionally. They gave me opportunities to explore strengths I shied away from before. Not only that, but you become a family because you’re all in the trenches together, trying to succeed at your individual and collective goals.

I liked how balanced the student experience was. Of course, it’s one of the best places for academic development but they really emphasized developing practical experience. And if you’re looking for a job, particularly in the UK, experience and interpersonal skills are so valuable.

Clearly picture what you want to achieve by the end of your course. Take in as much as you can but also give back. It’s one year in your entire life. Don’t leave with any regrets. It’s a great place to be.
