Student celebration event hosted for Digital Skills programme

Students and staff recently joined together in person and online to celebrate the achievements of students who had completed their digital skills work-insight projects.

As part of the Digital Skills programme, Loughborough University London students were invited to take part in work-insight projects on a variety of different topics with London-based businesses.

Students who have now completed the programme were invited to join an event to celebrate their achievements and successes whilst reflecting on the experience. The event took place both in person at the London campus and virtually, and provided a rewarding opportunity for both staff and students to reflect and provide positive feedback and celebrate together as students received their project certificates.

Speaking of the experience, MSc Design Innovation student Darya, said:

"Loughborough University London’s Digital Skills programme has helped me put some real experience on my CV in my area of interest; sustainable fashion. It’s introduced me to two companies one I am still connected to.  I’d recommend any students looking at studying for a masters take part."

Ben Cole, Head of Strategic Projects and Future Space, who hosted the event, said:

“At Loughborough University London we just love helping our students gain real experience with innovative companies that are right on our doorstep here in London. We've had some amazing projects running though our Digital Skills that have provided real value for all involved. It is great that we can offer this again to our incoming students.”

Loughborough University London would like to congratulate all our students who have taken part so far.
