UK Sport Data Global Training Camp held at Loughborough University London

On 29-30 January 2019, Loughborough University London hosted a sold out two-day intensive global training camp with a focus on sport data.

Developed for students and professionals with a passion for Sports Performance Data, Sports Marketing, Sports Business and Sports Technology, the camp was sponsored and hosted by Loughborough University London.

In a series of 90-minute sessions, students and young professionals participated in hands-on workshops and masterclasses, developing their knowledge and experience of technical tools, technologies, vendors and data analytics.

Sessions were delivered by Loughborough University London senior lecturers, Dr Erhan Ekmekcioglu and Dr Varuna De Silva, alongside data scientists, consultants and management level sports professionals.

50 students from the Institute for Sport Business were invited to partake in the camp benefitting from free places provided by the University.
