Professor McRobbie discusses her latest book: Fashion as Creative Economy: A Social Justice Agenda co-authored with Dan Strutt and Carolina Bandinelli.
She will introduce key concepts like the 'milieu of fashion labour', 'social fashion', 'female-led fashion place-making practices', 'art theory' and 'monopoly rent'; emerging from the AHRC CREATe research project.
Her talk will also explore the dynamics of independent fashion production in London, Berlin and Milan.
