Design Innovation

The Institute for Design Innovation is committed to developing partnerships with industry and civil society to address the latest social, enterprise and innovation needs.

Design declares itself inherently optimistic, future-oriented and value adding, and expects to achieve deep understandings of human desire. Design innovation takes the identity and value of design from tangible artefacts and physical space into services, operational strategies and business models.

The Institute for Design Innovation combines research, teaching and enterprise activities to support academic study of the discipline and provide innovative design solutions to some of the world's most pressing issues.

The Institute for Design Innovation enjoys a collaborative relationship with the School of Design and Creative Arts, based at the University’s East Midlands campus. Together, the Institute for Design Innovation and the School of Design and Creative Arts epitomise excellence across all strands of their activity.

The diversity in the students attending the course helps you learn different views and aspects of a topic.

Professors and Lecturers of this course are very enthusiastic about what they teach, and they try to make the classes as interactive and engaging as possible.
