This Institute is dedicated to the media and creative industries; music, the press, radio, film, television, electronic games, literature, museums, drama, dance, art, tourism, journalism, and the internet. We work with the arts, the social sciences, and the humanities as equal intellectual lodestones.
The Institute for Media and Creative Industries attracts graduate research students and world-leading faculty. We collaborate across the University, and externally with a range of UK and international academics, practitioners and research centres. This helps to ensure our impact on academia, industry, institutions, civil society, professionals, and policy-makers at both national and international levels.

The Institute for Media and Creative Industries incorporates an interdisciplinary team of researchers with a shared interest in the growth and impact of media and the creative industries.
