Loughborough University London opens scholarship for attendees at this year’s Collaborate Sprint

Loughborough University London has today announced further details of its scholarship for attendees at this year’s Collaborate Sprint.

The Deans Award for Enterprise - The Collaborate Sprint Scholarship 2022 is available to all those Loughborough University Undergraduates who attended Collaborate Sprint. The scholarship offers successful candidates 90% towards the full cost of tuition fees for any full-time master's programme at Loughborough University London.

Held at the end of June, Collaborate Sprint was an opportunity for Loughborough undergraduates to gain insight into the Loughborough University London student experience. Academic staff from across its seven Institutes worked with members of the Future Space team to deliver a condensed version of the Collaborative Project.

Students were tasked with the challenge of looking at ways to improve global health through the utilisation of Holland & Barrett supply chains. They were given two days to build a team, research the challenge and come up with sustainable solutions.

To be eligible to apply for the award, you must:

  • Have attended Collaborate Sprint June 2022
  • Be an applicant for a Loughborough University London Postgraduate programme with a conditional/unconditional offer to study a full-time master's programme at Loughborough University London.
  • Have completed or be completing a degree programme at Loughborough University.
  • Have reflected on lessons learned at Collaborate Sprint on the approach you take to collaborative ideation and problem solving.

You can apply through the online application form.

Professor Tony Edwards, Dean of Loughborough University London said: “Bringing an international, interdisciplinary, and innovative lens onto the world’s challenges is a real mainstay of the Loughborough University London experience. It is wonderful that we are today announcing details of how those who studied with us in the East Midlands can further benefit from the opportunities in London with Loughborough.”

The panel is looking for candidates passionate about collaborative ideation and problem solving. It welcomes applications from individuals who are committed to contributing to society. You should display a full understanding of the costs involved in postgraduate study and outline why you have a strong motivation to study your programme. You should also demonstrate that you have the initiative to be able to secure funds in order to cover the remaining tuition fee and other associated costs. Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a short video interview.
