Loughborough University London's Digital Skills programme now online

SME’s and start-ups looking to access digital skills support can now access Loughborough University London’s Digital Skills workshops and events online to help their businesses scale and grow.

Funded by the Greater London Authority and the European Social Fund, the Digital Skills programme offers free digital skills workshops to SMEs from across the capital.

The online workshops will be tailored to the needs of those that apply but are likely to include tutorials on using digital tools effectively to increase workflow and productivity, use of social media and video to support business functions i.e. recruitment, customer service or digital business development tools.

The opportunity to develop virtual work insight projects with postgraduate students studying at the university’s campus in London is also included in the programme in addition to the workshops. Student work insight projects will cover areas such as digital marketing, design innovation and business development.

The programme is 100% free and 100% online for all London registered start-ups and SME’s that sign up.

Ben Cole, Loughborough University London Stakeholder Development Manager said:

“Since we established ourselves in London in 2015 we’ve always been innovating. Our move to go 100% digital means that at the very time when SME’s and start-ups need help to innovate we have a 100% online programme to boost businesses across London.”
