Founding Dean appointed as Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor for Sport
The University is pleased to announce that Professor Mike Caine has been appointed as Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor for Sport.
Professor Caine will work closely with the Provost on the development of the sport related strand of the University's next strategic plan, ensuring academic and operational sport related activities from the Schools, Sports Development Centre, and Professional Services are all fully aligned.
Speaking about his new appointment, Professor Caine said:
"I'm looking forward to working with colleagues and partner organisations across the Loughborough Sport ecosystem during this strategic planning phase."
Professor Caine was the founding Dean for Loughborough University London and alongside his new role as Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor for Sport, he is also a Professor of Sport Technology and Innovation within the Institute for Sport Business.
