Come and meet employers as part of the Future Space Recruitment Challenge
Students graduating this December are being encouraged to apply for Future Space’s Recruitment Challenge.
The Challenge takes place on the afternoon of 7th September 2023 and will feature partner employers who are working with Future Space to recruit Loughborough University London students. They are; IMG/7 League, Sports Interactive, 4 Global, OnePlan, Plexal, and Tech Mahindra.
Students signing up get to complete a video interview, take part in exciting team challenges and receive feedback on their performance. The event ends with some informal networking and feedback with the employers.
Ben Cole Head of Future Space said “Gaining insight into how UK employers recruit is a key part of the experience of studying at Loughborough University London. Our recruitment Challenge introduces our students to key components of the recruitment process. Full feedback is given, and the Challenge gives a major boost to those seeking to work in the UK after graduation”
Although the challenge does not lead directly to employment opportunities many of the partner employers have now been able to recruit alumni.
Sofia Moufarrej graduated in 2022 and now works for OnePlan said about the challenge “I would hugely recommend the Future Space Recruitment Challenge. It provides a real insight into how some UK employer’s recruit. From the video interview through to the team based and individual challenges, it provides experience of real recruitment processes. Having real partner employers there is a huge bonus. I met the team from OnePlan and now work for them. As an alumna of the Institute for Digital Technologies I’d encourage anyone to apply for it. Although some of the employers have a focus on the Sports Industry they are not necessarily looking to recruit for sports roles. Any student should just go for it!”
Current students can apply for the Recruitment Challenge here. Application cut-off date is Friday 25th August.
