Collaborate Sprint – Everything you need to know for this year’s innovation challenge

Loughborough University London is offering a select few students studying at our East Midlands campus the opportunity to undertake a Collaborative Sprint.

The Sprint is based on Loughborough University London’s innovative Collaborative Project Module and gives participants the chance to build teams, take on challenges from companies and organisations and pitch their ideas. Our Collaborate Sprint takes place on our campus on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.

We are offering accommodation and travel bursaries for students who need this most. We are providing food and drink and will be hosting evening social activities.

When does Collaborate Sprint take place?

Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th June 2022. You need to attend on both days. You must ensure you arrive no later than 10am to register on Monday 27th June. Late arrivals will not be admitted to Collaborate Sprint and will not receive travel bursaries.

Where does it take place?

Collaborate Sprint takes place at Loughborough University London, 3 Lesney Avenue, The Broadcast Centre, Here East, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, E20 3BS. Details of how to find us are on our website here.

Timetable:

Collaborate Sprint takes place over two days. You need to attend both days fully.

Monday 27th June 2022

10am - Registration

Join us to register for the two days at Loughborough University London

10.30am - Sprint Begins

1pm - Lunch

5.30pm - Transport to Accommodation

6pm - Free time

7pm - Evening Meal

Tuesday 28th June 2022

10am - Sprint final day begins

12.30pm - Lunch

4pm - Finish

5pm - Additional free invitation (separate to Collaborate Sprint) to join the wrap up event for Fair Energy Futures Symposium, Lab20, Olympic Park. Loughborough University London is one of the collaborating partners.

Meals and Refreshments:

Collaborate Sprint is fully catered. We are offering Lunch and an evening meal on Monday 27th and Breakfast and lunch on Tuesday 28th. All dietary requirements we have received will be catered for.

Accommodation:

We are working with local accommodation providers to offer one nights accommodation on Monday 27th June for those that need it. If you indicated you needed accommodation we will contact you by e-mail with details of how you can book this.

Travel Bursary:

We are offering a travel bursary of £100 to all attendees who have registered to receive this. This will be paid directly to your student account. Please ensure your bank details are updated in LEARN. Payment will be made after you have attended both days. The bursary may take up to 15 working days to be paid to your account.
