Future Space was rocking this March with its biggest ever Careers Insight event
Over 100 students were in attendance to hear from companies such as Spotify, BT, Deliveroo, Google, KPMG, UN Volunteers, CSM Live / Formula E, NFL, One Plan, AI Scout, Plexal, 4Global, IMG/7 League and Sports Interactive.
With many of the speakers being recent alumni the event offered students a great opportunity to connect with early careers professionals and get hints and tips on applying for roles.
The event was also supported by companies working with Loughborough University London’s Future Space team to exclusively hire its graduates.
Lewis Wiltshire, CEO of Seven League, the digital arm of IMG Media, and a keynote speaker at the event said: “Several of our recent hires have come from Loughborough University London. These events are a great way for us to connect with students and discuss trends that are critical to our industry.”
Professor Tony Edwards said “Our Careers Insight Events are crucial for us to connect our amazing students with employers from across the UK and beyond. Our Future Space team have quickly built an impressive range of partners who I would like to thank for their involvement. The real star of these events though are our alumni. They never fail to turn up and share the insight they have gained in their careers so far. It is tremendously impressive to hear about the companies and projects they are working on.”
"The interaction with the professionals was fruitful and helpful in terms of focusing our learnings in the right direction. I want to pursue a career in consultancy so I interacted with professionals from KPMG and they helped in how i should make the most of course at Loughborough. It was truly enriching experience" Current student at Loughborough University London.
The next Careers Insight Event will be in November 2023.
