University pays tribute to The Duke of Edinburgh

Loughborough's Vice-Chancellor Professor Robert Allison has paid tribute to Prince Philip following the announcement of his death earlier today.

Following the death of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, Professor Robert Allison, Vice-Chancellor and President of Loughborough University, said: "The Loughborough University community is very saddened to hear today of the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, who dedicated his life to public service and whose support for Her Majesty The Queen was unwavering.

"Our thoughts and condolences are with The Queen and other members of the Royal Family at this time."
