Students virtually meet the Chicago Bulls Commercial team
On Tuesday 11th May 2021, as part of Loughborough University London’s partnership with DePaul University Chicago, our students were invited to attend a 1-hour online event to meet and chat with members of the Chicago Bulls Commercial team.
The Chicago Bulls are an iconic sports team known around the world, making this an exciting event for our students to be involved with. The session included speakers from a range of roles within the Chicago Bulls Commercial team and the event offered students an interesting insight into the commercial side of the Bulls, to understand what these different roles involve and learn all about what makes an effective commercial team. Our students were enthusiastic and had the opportunity to pose lots of great questions to the team to really gain the most from this exciting experience.
Likewise, a particular highlight of the event was the that we were fortunate enough to be joined by a former Chicago Bulls player at the end of the session. This presented students with a unique and exciting opportunity and they had plenty of questions to gain an understanding into the experiences of a former Chicago Bulls player.
The event host, Andy Clark (Director of Sports Business Programs at DePaul University) spoke about the event:
“Meeting with the Chicago Bulls is always one of the major highlights of a quarter. The Loughborough students came with such enthusiasm and asked thoughtful questions which added so much to overall atmosphere of the session for everyone.”
The Future Space team Loughborough University London and DePaul University staff have been collaborating on practical entrepreneurship activities, including a recent virtual hack with West Ham United Foundation.
We would like to thank DePaul University Chicago for hosting such a memorable and invigorating event and thank you to all those involved in making this event a success for all those who attended.
