Calling all collaborative innovators

Loughborough University London is looking for organisations to take part in the Collaborate programme for the upcoming academic year.

Collaborate consists of academic modules that enable students across all degrees to work closely with external organisations to solve real-life challenges.

Organisations of all sizes and from all industries are encouraged to get involved in this opportunity to meet future talent, support innovation and inspire further research. This year, over 70 students went on to collaborate further with companies with our follow-on module, the Collaborative Dissertation.

One of the modules, the Collaborative Project, is team-based and this year was delivered virtually, enabling almost 700 students and 24 organisations from across the globe to get involved, culminating in the first online Collaborative Project Show.

Collaborate also provides a fantastic opportunity to establish relationships with the wider University with potential for further collaborative research and activity. For example, one of our Partner Organisations, RingCentral, will be co-presenting with Loughborough University London at the Digital Transformation Expo and is working with one student on their Collaborative Dissertation.

To become involved in Collaborative Project for 2021/22, prospective Partner Organisations are invited to submit their proposal for an innovation brief here before 13 September, with projects going live February-May 2022.

Additionally, on Wednesday 4 August, Loughborough University London is hosting a lunchtime webinar - ‘Creating a Collaboration with LU LDN’ - for prospective Partner Organisations to learn more.  You can sign up here.

Please email collaborate@lboro.ac.uk if you have any questions and further information about Collaborate is available here.
