Loughborough Enterprise Network continues to offer business support to current students
Loughborough Enterprise Network (LEN) is continuing to offer a variety of support services to current students looking for business and entrepreneurial advice.
One-to-one appointments with the University’s enterprise advisors are available via video call, email and over the phone. To request an appointment, you need to fill in a short form so you can be matched to the most appropriate adviser and an appointment link will then be sent to you via Careers Online.
Every Monday, students, staff and graduates are invited to attend LEN’s Lounge: a virtual social catch-up connecting entrepreneurial spirits to have a chat and discuss anything that may be on their mind - there will even be games and quizzes to keep your brain active too. The next LEN’s Lounge will take place on Monday 4 May at 10am; more information can be found here.
In addition, the Network has launched an eight-week programme focused on getting your business online. It will include interactive activities, weekly Q&A meetups as well as useful resources to advance your journey into either developing a business or taking an established business to the next level, learning new entrepreneurial skills along the way. The course has been modified to make it relevant for the remote working landscape we are currently in.
In a testing time for all, LEN has also set up a webpage aimed at supporting your needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Whether it is information about financial support, external resources or looking after your mental wellbeing, the team has provided a package of useful links and opportunities, as well as positive enterprise stories to keep you motivated.
Be inspired and set yourself small challenges each day using the Network’s 5-week challenge calendar, with small goals set for each day of the week, ranging from meditation, reading business articles and watching TED talks. Alongside this, they have provided recommended books, podcasts, LinkedIn Learning courses and remote working tips for you to check out.
To get in touch with the LEN team, or to find out more information about any of the opportunities above, please email len@lboro.ac.uk.
