Prizes for Loughborough University London students at the LSU Academic Awards
Last night saw Loughborough University London students win two awards at the LSU Academic Awards 2017.
Students from Loughborough University London took home two awards from the LSU Academic Awards yesterday. Held at the Students' Union at the Loughborough campus, the Awards celebrate the success of the past year in regards to the outstanding learning and teaching experience across both campuses.
Awards were presented to individuals demonstrating excellence in teaching, as well as those who provide exceptional guidance and support for students during their studies. Awards were also given to students who initiate change and invest a tremendous amount of time and passion into the student experience in Loughborough and in London.
Lauren Estwick is currently studying MSc Sport Business and Innovation at Loughborough University London, and received the award for Programme President of the Year. The award is given to the most inspiring Programme President, who has demonstrated their full committment to the best interests and outcomes of students on their programmes, and has not only led but worked well with their team of Reps.
In addition, the team of programme representatives spanning the Institute for Design Innovation, the Institute for Digital Technologies, the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Institute for Media and Creative Industries, the Institute for Sport Business and The Institute for Diplomacy and International Governance were given a combined award for Programme Rep of the Year.
Speaking of the event, the London representatives said: "Thank you to the Education Executive Officer and the LSU for hosting an amazing evening. The London Representative squad is delighted and proud to be coming back to the London campus with two awards"
