Loughborough University London partners Europe's largest retail technology festival

Loughborough University London is proud to be a University partner of Tech. powered by Retail Week: a festival celebrating the most influential digital thinkers, investors and practitioners in retail.

Located at Here East from 13th-14th September, Tech. powered by Retail Week is the biggest two-day celebration of digital retailing and technology in Europe. Both days will be filled with workshops and talks from 120 of the world's most iconic technology entrepreneurs and inventors, as well as known venture capital investors, industry analysts and thought leaders from a wealth of industries, including retail, academia, media and digital technologies. 
 
Representatives from over 300 companies, organisations and start-ups will be in attendance, including Tesco, John Lewis, M&S, Dixons Carphone, Shop Direct and EMP. 
 
Across the two days, attendees can:
  • Discover the latest technology-based initiatives from some of the most disruptive techies, entrepreneurs, and retailers;
  • Explore the potential of new technological advances, such as virtual/augmented reality and artificial intelligence 
  • Understand responses to emerging trends such as ‘on demand’ retailing and ‘connected retailing’
  • Experience the application of new technology across the retail sector
  • Network with some of the most influential names in digital, retail and smart technologies
