Our students vote Loughborough as first for overall student satisfaction

Loughborough University has once again been ranked first for overall student satisfaction in the UK and globally in an independent survey.

The Student Barometer and International Student Barometer allowed students from both campuses to give feedback on the services they receive. The surveys cover several aspects of students’ experience, including why they chose to study at the university, the application process, and how satisfied they are with a range of learning, living and support areas.

In the Autumn Wave 2016 Student Barometer and International Student Barometer, which seeks the views of home and international students, Loughborough was ranked first in the UK and globally for overall satisfaction, out of 45 participating universities (15 in the UK), with 95% of Loughborough students from both campuses saying they were satisfied with the University overall.

Ninety-two percent of Loughborough students who took part in the survey also said they would recommend the University to those thinking of applying, ranking Loughborough first in the UK and globally in this category as well.

Around 188,000 home and international students from 196 institutions in 17 countries took part in the Autumn Wave 2016 surveys.

The survey is run by i-graduate, an independent agency that tracks and benchmarks student and stakeholder opinions across the entire student journey, from prospective students to alumni.
