Survey confirms Loughborough has offered best student experience over the last decade
No university in the UK has offered a better student experience over the last decade than Loughborough University, a national survey has revealed.
The annual Times Higher Education (THE) Student Experience Survey is based on the views of students about their university experience across 21 criteria including teaching, accommodation, facilities and social aspects.
In the 2017 table, released today (Thursday 23 March), Loughborough is second in the country. Since the inception of the survey in 2006 Loughborough has topped the table seven times and come top five no less than 10 times. Over the period of the survey Loughborough enjoys the best results in the country for student satisfaction.
As well as a second place ranking overall in the 2017 survey, Loughborough came first in three categories: High quality facilities; Catering for personal requirements; and Good extra-curricular activities/societies.
