EDI Film Night: The Theory of Everything
The Loughborough University London Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Committee invites all staff and students to join us for pizza, drinks, and a screening of the film "The Theory of Everything" on Wednesday, 15 February 2023 from 5:00-8:00pm in Room LDN001.
The film details the life of theoretical physicist, cosmologist and author Stephen Hawking, who was best known for his work with black holes and relativity. At age 21 Hawking was diagnosed with a rare early-onset, slow-progressing form of motor neurone disease called amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which gradually paralysed him over decades. The film, released in 2014, was nominated for five Academy Awards.
