Future Space, LDN017/018, LDN102 and LDN104, Loughborough University London Campus

Poster with text: Disability, Sport and Inclusion: Knowledge Exchange and Networking Forum. Thursday 15 September 13:00 – 17:30. Loughborough University London.

The Disability, Sport and Inclusion forum brings together groups and organisations working at the intersection of research, policy and advocacy with the aim of promoting knowledge exchange centred on sharing best practice, inclusive and equitable research designs, and the development of new and continued research agendas.

The forum will invite cross sector dialogue through a series of roundtable discussions – thematised around Dialogues and Futures – broadly aligned with the following questions:

Dialogues: Why is sport a useful platform in social inclusion and disability justice initiatives? How can we build consensus between different groups with vested interests in social inclusion and disability justice agendas to better inform research and practice? How can collaborative research respond to changing disability justice agendas?

Futures: What are the priorities for future research within the sport, disability and social inclusion space, and how can academics and practitioners partner to address these priorities?

An evening event will commence from 5:30pm.

The agenda for the event is as follows:

12:45pm - 1:15pm: Arrival and Lunch

1:15pm - 1:30pm: Introductions
