Creative Research And Innovation ‘centre’

Visit the CRAIC website The Creative Research And Innovation ‘centre’ (CRAIC) is a new centre for research and collaboration at Loughborough University London.

The collaborative research programme currently consists of four main projects:

  • Beyond the Crisis
  • East London
  • Building Creative Businesses
  • Creative Economy Champion.

These projects along with a range of essays, podcasts and videos will explore innovation in the Creative Industries and the wider economy.

Who is involved?

Andrew Chitty

Professor within the Institute for Media and Creative Industries

Andrew is the Challenge Director for the two Creative Industries Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund programmes – Audience of the Future and Creative Industries Clusters. He had previously been a founder-director of one of the UK’s most innovative and successful digital production companies, Illumina Digital.

Graham Hitchen

Senior Enterprise Fellow within the Institute for Media and Creative Industries

Graham Hitchen is an expert on Creative Industries policy, having worked in the sector for more than 25 years. He is currently working with the Industrial Strategy team at UKRI, leading strategy for the Audience of the Future and the Creative Industries Clusters programmes.
