Loughborough Enterprise Network provides a range of events and support for students wishing to develop their entrepreneurial skills or turn your business ideas into a reality.

LEN supports students and recent graduates on their enterprise journeys, by hosting a range of events, workshops, business advice and networking sessions.

Mentoring

LEN helps support students with entrepreneurial ideas and potential business owners looking to take their innovative ideas forward. Develop your business and your skills with dedicated advice and support in 1-2-1 mentoring sessions with the Student Enterprise Adviser, Hayley Jones.

Events

LEN hold a number of events throughout the year, and whether you’re and experienced entrepreneur or wondering how to get started, there’s something for everyone! Events have previously included: venture crawls, networking sessions, workshops, and Hackathons.

Competitions

Competitions are a great way to test your concept, get funding, enhance your profile and grow your network.

Start-up fund

If you have a business idea or existing business, LEN has a Start-up Fund so you can pitch for a grant of up to £5,000 to really kick start your venture!

The fund is exclusively available to Loughborough students and recent graduates, and you can submit your expression of interest form to Hayley Jones to begin the process.

Deepen your knowledge and develop yourself further as an entrepreneur with LEN’s online resources.

Start-up visa

If you are an international student and a passionate entrepreneur, with an innovative business idea that would be established in the UK, you could stay in the UK to establish your businesses after completing your degree. The Start-up [HJ1] visa is for international graduates identified as having both a genuine and credible business idea plus entrepreneurial skills.
