What we do
LEN helps support students with entrepreneurial ideas and potential business owners looking to take their innovative ideas forward. Develop your business and your skills with dedicated advice and support in 1-2-1 mentoring sessions with the Student Enterprise Adviser, Hayley Jones.

LEN hold a number of events throughout the year, and whether you’re and experienced entrepreneur or wondering how to get started, there’s something for everyone! Events have previously included: venture crawls, networking sessions, workshops, and Hackathons.

Competitions are a great way to test your concept, get funding, enhance your profile and grow your network.
LEN competitions take place throughout the year, keep checking this page for competition information and updates.
If you have a business idea or existing business, LEN has a Start-up Fund so you can pitch for a grant of up to £5,000 to really kick start your venture!
The fund is exclusively available to Loughborough students and recent graduates, and you can submit your expression of interest form to Hayley Jones to begin the process.
Find out more about the LEN Start-up Fund on their webpages.
If you are an international student and a passionate entrepreneur, with an innovative business idea that would be established in the UK, you could stay in the UK to establish your businesses after completing your degree. The Start-up [HJ1] visa is for international graduates identified as having both a genuine and credible business idea plus entrepreneurial skills.
Find out more about the Start-up visa on the LEN webpages.
