Watching live sports in London

London is one of the world’s great global cities, offering some of the best opportunities to connect with live sports.

A home to world-class sports experiences

One of the best things about our capital is that you can find and enjoy almost any sport you’re interested in, and much of it is right on the doorstep of our campus.

The London stadium

Just a 15-minute walk from Loughborough University London, you’ll find the London Stadium. Home to the Premier League side West Ham United, it also hosts a range of athletics events and concerts, making it a true hub of sport and culture in the city.

Iconic London venues

London is home to some of the world’s most iconic stadiums. From the iconic Wembley arches to the historic Lord’s Cricket Ground, the city is packed with incredible venues to watch and enjoy sport.

Community sports

London is also one of the world’s premier locations for grassroots sports. Hackney Wick FC, for example, is a local football club competing in the lower tiers of the football pyramid. While you might not see multi-million-pound signings, you’ll experience a brilliant day of sport at a fraction of the price, all while supporting your local community.
