Directories such as spareroom.co.uk advertise available rooms, and many property rental sites, including rightmove.co.uk , list student‑specific properties. These platforms operate entirely independently of the University, so it is essential that students carry out thorough research before committing to any rental agreements.
Loughborough University provides a contract‑checking service to support students when renting accommodation. Prospective and current students are strongly encouraged to use this service before signing any housing contract.
