Since it opened in 2015, the University has been investing in the rich and diverse talent in and around its campus in East London. Over 50 scholars have received 100% scholarships to study an industry focused Postgraduate programme. Those graduating are now working for organisations and companies such as the Bank of England, Google and the NFL.
Scholars were joined by The Dean of Loughborough University London and Matt Carroll, COO of Sports Interactive, one of the most recent sponsors of the scholarship.
The certificate giving marks the opening of this year’s search for East London talent. The Inspiring Success programme connects in two parts. The first part if a set of employability workshops running in June. These workshops connect east London graduates with the skills to market themselves and a variety of employers all working with Loughborough and its partners. The workshops lead on to a 100% Scholarship to study a Postgraduate programme at Loughborough University London.
