East London is full of talented graduates, and in June 2025, we’re joining forces to help unlock that potential. Loughborough University London, UCL, London College of Fashion and UAL are working together on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to deliver personal and professional development workshops to enhance the employability of east London graduates.
Through a series of free employability workshops, we’ll provide local graduates with practical support, valuable connections with employer partners and local businesses, and insights into postgraduate study opportunities, including scholarships.
Running throughout June 2025, these workshops are part of the Inspiring Success initiative, which supports unemployed or under-employed graduates from Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, and Waltham Forest. Whether you're looking to refresh your CV, improve your interview technique, or figure out your next career move, this programme is here to guide you.
What you’ll gain

- Eligibility to apply for the Inspiring Success Scholarship at Loughborough University London, which covers 100% of tuition fees for a full-time master’s programme starting in October 2025 or January 2026
Workshop dates
3, 10, 17 and 18 June. The workshops conclude with a celebration event on Thursday 3 July, where you’ll have the opportunity to reflect on your progress and connect with inspiring individuals who can help you to take the next step.
Who can take part?
To be eligible, you must:
- Have completed an undergraduate degree with a 2:2 or above
- Be currently unemployed or under-employed (earning less than £580.30/week)
- Live in Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets or Waltham Forest
- Have previously studied for GCSEs or A-levels in one of these boroughs
- Be interested in applying for a master’s degree at Loughborough University London
