Students at Loughborough University London once again joined external stakeholders and alum to enjoy an alternative networking format – Basketball!

The Future Space team, working together with Loughborough University London's student led Loughborough London Sports, organised this alternative networking event at the Olympic Park’s iconic Copper Box Arena, just a stone's throw from our London campus.

A group of around 30 students engaged in inclusive team sports and were joined by alum and representatives from Team Sportz, IMG, Epsilon, Granite BPO and Two Circles and played for just under two hours, connecting through sport, teamwork and social interactions.

Gagana Tiptur Narahariraju, alum of 2024 now working as an insight analyst at Two Circles said:

“I really enjoyed being back at the basketball networking event—it was a bit surreal returning as an alum, but also really special. It was great catching up with familiar faces and connecting with current students who are passionate about sports and the industry. I loved hearing their journeys, sharing some of my own experiences, and just soaking in all the energy and ambition in the room.”

Feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive from all involved and something the Future Space team will look to revisit in the future.
