Registration

To begin your studies at Loughborough University London, you must complete both online and in-person registration.

1. You will receive an email inviting you to register

After your place at Loughborough University London is confirmed, you will be invited to register approximately six weeks prior to your arrival at the University. You must first register online and then attend in-person registration to verify your identity and documents.

2. IT account setup

Before you arrive at Loughborough, all new students need to retrieve their IT credentials (email, username and password). See step 8 below for the Password Reset System that will allow you to reset or change your password from your personal device.

4. Prepare a photo

You will need to upload a photograph of yourself as part of the online registration process. We recommend that you prepare this digital image before you start online registration.

Please follow the instructions, your registration and production of your student ID card may be delayed if your photo does not meet our system requirements.

5. Online registration

Once you have retrieved your IT credentials, set up DUO Mobile (MFA access) and prepared your photo ID, you are then ready to start online registration.

Note: registration is a two-step process, online registration followed by in-person registration. Both steps are required to complete the registration process.

You cannot complete the online registration process until you have received an email inviting you to register. If you try to register before that, you will get an error informing you that your credentials have not been recognised.
