The Your Path Programme gives you clear, important information about consent, safety, reporting, and support – things every student should know. It helps all students understand what respectful behaviour looks like and how to recognise and respond to harmful situations. 

This course is mandatory as part of national guidance from the Office for Students (OfS).

Please be aware that some of the topics in this programme may be sensitive or emotionally challenging, therefore please take care of yourself while engaging with this material. If you need support, University services are available including: the Student Wellbeing Service, studentwellbeing@lboro.ac.uk and the University Reporting Portal. Our EDI and us session explores the importance of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and how we foster an inclusive community underpinned by respect and care at our London campus. You will learn about inclusive behaviour, how to report something that has happened to you and how our experiences shape our unique view of the world. This session encourages you to be curious and ask questions, helping you feel confident, informed, and included throughout your studies.

This session introduces you to the range of library resources and support available to help you succeed in your studies. You’ll discover how to access books, journals, and digital resources, as well as how to use key library services both on campus and online. This induction will help you make the most of the library throughout your time at Loughborough University London.

The Student Life session supports your transition to studying in the UK by providing essential information to help you settle into life in London. The session covers key practical topics such as opening a UK bank account, registering for healthcare with the NHS, understanding transport options, and getting to know your local area. The session is designed to help you feel confident and prepared as you begin your studies, ensuring you have the practical knowledge needed to settle in smoothly.

The Student Ambassador Q&A session gives you the opportunity to hear directly from our current student ambassadors about our student ambassador scheme. You can find out what the role involves, the skills you will learn and how to apply to become a student ambassador.

Freshers Fest is a vibrant event hosted in collaboration with the other university campuses based on Here East. With a range of stalls, you can meet support services, the student union, and local organisations, while learning about opportunities available to you throughout your studies. The event also includes campus tours, giving you the chance to explore our buildings and facilities.

Our sport welcome session is your opportunity to meet our sport student ambassadors and learn more about what sport and physical activity opportunities there are at Loughborough London and around the local area. You’ll discover the facilities located near campus, explore opportunities to get involved in sport, and find out more about the live sport happening in London.

The Collaborate Sprint is a great way to get to know your fellow students, develop team working skills and learn how to get things done. It also supports you to understand how to get the best out of group work and prepare you for the Collaborative Project, Global Challenges Modules and the Collaborative Dissertation.
