Our Digital Skills Programme

The Digital Skills programme aims to provide our students with hand-on experiences whilst also working to support start-ups, Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs), charities and not-for-profits scale and grow by boosting their digital skills.

The Digital Skills programme is a two-part project with the aim to improve digital skills. It offers online workshops and the chance for students to participate in virtual work insight projects.

Current students on the programme are invited to bespoke workshops and skills sessions to expand their knowledge and expertise. Previous workshop examples have included: online tools for project management, UX/UI design, digital product design, Adobe design skills, and blogging for business.

"As a communications volunteer, I was involved in several key areas such as planning, analysis, and strategy. I have built upon my skills and experiences I developed throughout my MSc to contribute to Echo's brand voice and communication strategy."

As part of the programme, London-based start-ups and SMEs offer a minimum of a 30 hour insight project to a Loughborough University London master's student.
