Wing studied Digital Marketing at Loughborough University London.
Wing also studied International Hospitality Management for her undergraduate degree.
Why did you choose LUL?
Loughborough University London was the only university that offers a dynamic marketing course in the postgraduate programme. One of the highlights was the collaborative project. The experience of working and resolving real business challenges was rewarding. It does not only bring networking opportunities, but it is also a solid example for any job interviews, especially soft skills.
How has LUL helped you in your career/ academic aspiration?
I was looking for a career change when I applied for the master's degree and I never regret the decision. Every second in the lecture hall was inspiring. We were not only looking at the present but also thinking about the future, opening opportunities for further development and enhancement. These sessions allow me to be creative and at the same time, practice critical thinking.
What do/did you like about studying at LUL?
There is a couple of things that made me succeed in my postgraduate degree and the professionalism of the professors and tutors is a big part of it. Especially during the beginning of the pandemic, unfortunately, we switched to online classes and tutorials during the dissertation period. I appreciate the support from my professors from the beginning to the end.
Do you have any advice for anyone applying to a postgraduate degree?
Do your research and do not hesitate to ask questions. I reached out to the programme lead during my application to ensure the programme suits my needs. He responded to me in a few days with long comprehensive answers to all my questions. He then became my dissertation supervisor and we worked well!
