When combining the University’s well-respected global reputation, alongside its multicultural and multinational student body set in the heart of London, it was an obvious choice for my postgraduate journey.

How has LUL helped you in your career/ academic aspiration?

Studying digital marketing at Loughborough University London connected me with industry professionals, a like-minded student body, offering me real-life experience in the city, whilst aiding my career change. I finished my degree half a year ago now, and still use everything I learned on a day-to-day basis. Recently, I proposed a project to my company that was based directly on a group project undertaking at Loughborough University London.

What do/did you like about studying at LUL?

The staff was always there to help and address any concerns. There was a depth of topics to choose to study which suited every individual's level of expertise in their field of study. As someone who had never studied digital marketing/marketing before, my postgraduate degree taught me everything I needed to know from the basics to the most advanced of areas.

Do you have any advice for anyone applying to a postgraduate degree?

Take the chance to deviate from your undergraduate degree. This can be in the form of a module choice or field of study. Coming from more than one educational background has made me a more well-rounded candidate in the graduate job market with transferable skills in several sectors.
