Options to start a master’s programme in 2020-21
At Loughborough, we understand that the world is changing and our fantastic teaching and support services must adapt quickly in order to continue providing an outstanding experience for our students.
Begin your studies in October 2020
We intend to admit a cohort of postgraduate students to our London campus in October 2020. As well as offering face-to-face teaching, all of our master's students at the London campus will be able to access lectures and tutorials online, so every student will have the option to begin their studies as planned this autumn.
Lectures will be delivered and recorded by the same top-quality academics that you can expect from your discipline and from a UK top 5 university. Plus, you will engage in regular interactive tutorials and seminars, as well as a range of other academic and social opportunities that will be made available to all students online or in person. Recordings will be made available on the University's virtual learning environment and full training will be offered to all students ahead of the start of term, so that you can familiarise yourself with the platform and begin your studies feeling calm, confident and ready to learn.
We hope these options will be particularly useful for any students who are unable to travel to the UK or to the campus right away. As soon as circumstances change, we will be ready and waiting to welcome you to our vibrant postgraduate community in person.
Charlie Carter, Director of the International Office
If you choose to begin your studies online, you will need to be on campus no later than February 2021. If this later turns out not to be possible, you will be able to pause your studies and complete your course on campus in the following academic year.
