Why did you choose to study at Loughborough University London?

Loughborough University London was one of my top choices because of its reputation. As well as this, the location here at Here East is a very pleasant place to be, I'd describe it as the new London and the connection that the university has with professional industries is everything I could have asked for so that ticks all the boxes for me.

What attracted you to the programme?

With a ranking in subject at #41 worldwide for Communications & Media, I knew right away that I would learn a lot from Loughborough University London, from people who genuinely understand the industry I wish to work in. I was also very intrigued by the Collaborative Project module as well as it is something not every university offers, therefore made Loughborough University London stand out from my other choices.

List at least one thing you wish you knew about Loughborough University London before arriving on campus.

There is so much more people here than I thought it would be! Initially I thought I was going to be lonely as this is still a new campus and is not the East Midlands campus which is much larger but it is not, so if this is your concern, do not worry!

List three ways that studying a master's degree is helping you to reach your future career goals.

The first thing would be the connection I'm going to get after I'm finished with the degree - you're going to meet so many people! Secondly, studying a master's degree definitely helps me advance my knowledge in certain area and topic. Lastly, as an international student, having living here for only 9 weeks so far, my English has already improved a lot! It's fun to be able to write academically!

Do you have any advice for students moving to London?

You don't need to bring too many clothes. It's best to buy here because there's student discount and there are lots of warm clothes.

Tell us about the support available at Loughborough University London?

There is lots of support! Everyone here is lovely, kind and understanding. You can talk to anyone and they are more than happy to help you!
