Anushrav is a Sport Business and Innovation MSc student on the Excellence Scholarship

Anushrav graduated from St.Joseph's College, Bangalore and The University of Nottingham before commencing his master's studies at Loughborough University London. 

Why did you choose to study at Loughborough University London?

Loughborough University is the best university in the world for sports studies (QS World Ranking 2018). In addition, Loughborough University London has a diverse international community. London is also one of the most exciting cities and I knew I could not miss out on this opportunity.

What attracted you to the programme?

This programme is in sync with my ultimate career goals and immediate career goals. The modules are also fascinating and are aimed to provide the students with not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experiences in the sporting industry.

List at least one thing you wish you knew about Loughborough University London before arriving on campus.

I wish I knew about the established guest lecturers that are invited to speak during our various modules.

List three ways that studying a master's degree is helping you to reach your future career goals.

Both my master's and studying at Loughborough University London are helping me create a global network of people. This programme is also teaching me how to think on my feet. 

Do you have any advice for students moving to London?

Active participation in a bunch of curricular and extra-curricular activities will help you develop as an individual and also make sure you take advantage of the year. 

Do you take part in any extra-curricular activities on campus, on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park or in the local area?

As well as being a Student Ambassador, I take part in a football league with a couple of my friends every Wednesday evening.

Tell us about the support available at Loughborough University London?

The students at the University are well supported by the faculty members, student support staff, Student Union representatives and the Enterprise Hub, who are willing to guide and advise you on many things.
