Why Loughborough University London
L - location, O – organisation, V – values, E – environment.
What have you most enjoyed about your programme so far?
So far I have enjoyed most the diversity of students we have on my programme. People in my programme are from all around the world and from various backgrounds. I have an opportunity to be a student to people who have been diplomats for years, that is very helpful for me and I believe my peers too, as we get to know what the realities behind embassies’ doors are. They have diplomatic ranks, but at the end of the day we are all students in Loughborough University London.
What attracted you to the programme?
While I was choosing a programme I wanted to study and where, I probably searched the entire web. Loughborough University London's modules and academic staff impressed me, as well as this programme being different from all others and I got really interested in it.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully, at one of the Lithuanian Embassies around the world.
What advice would you give to prospective students looking to study at Loughborough University London?
Don’t waste your time and apply soon. You will have better chances to get scholarship.
List at least one thing you wish you knew before arriving on campus?
Before leaving Lithuania my laptop needed fixing and that would last two months, so I left it. When I came to London and I was stressing everyday how I will do assignments, but I wish I knew that I didn’t need to stress because the university will loan laptops to students to use on campus for free.
How would you describe Enterprise Through the Curriculum?
It is a programme that helps students to develop the skills which are much needed in their future careers. All skill sets vary from person to person, so in this programme you are available to develop areas where you are not so advances, for example giving presentations or improving your leadership abilities.
