Why Loughborough University London?

Loughborough University London is a well-equipped small campus housing approximately 450 students. It is precisely for this reason that studying at Loughborough University London is such a pleasant experience. The close community allows for easy networking and indefinitely makes it easy for new students to integrate into this big family. Likewise, the up and coming district of Stratford with new shopping centres such as that of Westfield Stratford Centre further encourages students to foster their new bonds through socialising.

It is for these very reasons that I enjoyed my first few days in Loughborough University London.

What have you most enjoyed about your programme so far?

The new teaching style here at Loughborough University London is what I enjoyed in my programme so far. This makes my learning experience completely unique. Instead of the usual marathon that we have been used to in our education, Loughborough University London adopt the sprint method, allowing students to fully immerse themselves in one module before moving on to the next. This inevitably enables me to build a strong foundation, equipping with the most basic knowledge, before moving on to more challenging topics. This teaching method provides a breeding ground to inculcate a stronger connection with other relevant modules and is what entices me the most.

What attracted you to the programme?

When I was comparing different programme across multiple universities, I found Loughborough University London’s module ‘Collaborative Project’ to be something I wished to be part of. The collaborative project enables students to further enhance their resume with opportunities to work with real businesses and organisations to solve a real-life issue/brief. This provides opportunities for students to network with potential employers and gain an understanding of the current economy. This experience would inevitably provide the students a challenging yet highly rewarding opportunity, meeting client demands and working to deadlines. I am positive that the program on the whole would not only allow students to build on their academia but also creates opportunities for personal development.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I see myself being in a senior position with an establish multinational firm. I would have also acquired my professional qualification.

What advice would you give to prospective students looking to study at Loughborough University London?

I would tell them that Loughborough University London adopts a unique approach in the ‘collaborative project’ module where students from diverse education background come together to complete the assigned project.

List at least one thing you wish you knew before arriving on campus
