Why Loughborough University London?
Studying at Loughborough University London allows students an opportunity to pursue academic excellence in a city that is dynamic and multi-culturally diverse. It is an invitation to experience, engage and expand one’s perspective immeasurably through a collaborative and inspirational learning environment.
What have you most enjoyed about your programme so far?
As a campus focused exclusively on postgraduate study, I have had the opportunity to not only learn from renowned academics and guest lecturers but also to draw from the experience of my fellow students, from different backgrounds and this provides with me an all-round professional learning environment.
What attracted you to the programme?
A great attraction was the fact that my programme, like all other programmes at Loughborough University London, incorporates an interdisciplinary approach to learning, allowing me to gain knowledge and skills across other fields of study.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I hope to work in a reputed international organisation that allows me to put the knowledge gained in the field of peace building to practical use in a meaningful and purposeful manner.
What advice would you give to prospective students looking to study at Loughborough University London?
If there is one advice I can give, it is to get involved. There is so much to do here, from becoming a member on the committee for the students union to volunteering work and sports activities. It is a great way of meeting new people and making friends. As a Loughborough graduate, the ethos surrounding Loughborough University London, much like the main campus, is one of a close knit family - so don’t be afraid to venture out, it’s worth it!
List at least one thing you wish you knew before arriving on campus
Since I graduated from the Loughborough main campus, I came in fairly prepared as a postgraduate student. For those who are first timers I would suggest that its worth familiarising yourself with the material available on the university website and to participate in the web chats or face-to-face visits that the university periodically organises, to clarify any doubts.
