Accommodation

At Loughborough University London, we understand that finding a place to live for the duration of your studies is an important decision. That's why we have approved a number of accommodation options to suit your lifestyle and your budget.

Self-isolation option for accommodation

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us in 2020. At Loughborough University, our number one priority is the health and safety of our students and staff. As a result of this we are providing students that will need to self-isolate upon entering the UK the opportunity to do so safely in University accommodation if required. To arrange this please contact our accommodation team.

Advice and support

Students are required to book their accommodation directly with their chosen provider and the provider is then responsible for managing the tenancy agreement with the student.

The Student Accommodation Centre can assist if you want to book one of the Universities reserved rooms in London or with your wider search for accommodation in the capital.

The Student Advice and Support Service can offer advice and guidance to students on understanding their rights and responsibilities under a tenancy agreement and dealing with problems if they arise.

Advice for international students

Students applying for a Tier 4 (general) student visa will need to show that they have enough money to pay for their studies and their accommodation. This means you will need to have evidence of the funds for your tuition fees, as well as at least £1,265 per month for each month of your studies, up to a maximum of nine months, to pay for living costs.
