Build a bike challenge

Loughborough University London

Represent your organisation and meet others on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park by attending this fun and interactive 'build a bike' challenge, in partnership with Bikeworks.

Local organisations and start ups on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park are invited to join local charity, Bikeworks for a ‘build a bike challenge’ on campus. Individuals will be gathered into teams and will take part in a number of bike-related activities as a group, as well as interact, share ideas and form new partnerships.
This unique networking experience is one of a series of events being led by Entrepreneurship and Innovation Doctoral Researcher, Fiona Meeks. Fiona is particularly interested in the innovation networks that are developing rapidly across Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and is looking to use her experience and insight to support local organisations to become more innovative.
By creating events that bring together organisations from the same or different industries, Fiona can track which events have the most impact on innovation outcomes. In addition, Fiona's research can help organisations to uncover new ways to innovate more.
Organisations that attend the event will receive a network picture showing their connections on the Park. Assembled bikes will be donated to a local charity which supports individuals with mental health issues.
Registration opens at 4pm with networking drinks beginning at 6.30pm.
For more information and to register your organisation's attendance at the event, please email Fiona Meeks at quoting 'QEOP build a bike event'.
