IIE Research Seminar Series: Selina Cao
Ecosystem Benefits: An Integrative Framework
Selina Cao is a final year PhD student at Imperial College Business School. Her research broadly explores how digital technologies transform how value is created, delivered and captured. Specifically, her research focuses on the ecosystem construct with a particular interest in ecosystem benefits and the provision-side orchestration strategy (IIoT).
Beyond the novel dynamics at the firm level, she also explores the entrepreneurship dynamics at the regional level afforded by digital technologies with a focus on the entrepreneurial ecosystem policy. In line with her research interest, she has also advised many startups and leading organizations with initial idea discovery and ecosystem strategy formulation. She has been involved in teaching topics related to entrepreneurship, business models, family business, leadership, and marketing decision making in Undergraduates, Masters, and MBA programs. Prior to joining Imperial College, she worked in the professional service firm PwC.
