About this event

This is a two-part workshop - you’ll need to commit to attending both sessions that will take place one week apart on 13th and 20th May, 11am -1.30pm.

Your small business must be registered with Companies House using a London address or provide proof of a trading / office address in London.

Join Amy Lainchbury founder of Tasty Comms on this practical and interactive 5-hour course. This 2 part workshop is designed to give you the knowledge you need to understand how Facebook and Instagram ads work and to implement them for your business.

If you've tried to run ads before and they've not delivered, or if you've opened Ads Manager and been put off, you're in the right place. It's easy to waste money with ineffective ads, but once you have a process it becomes easier to manage, and maximise results.

What you will cover

We'll be taking a deep dive into the dos and don'ts of Facebook and Instagram Ads, from choosing your objective to pressing Publish, and beyond. It can be a little confusing, but once you've been shown a clear method for each step, it becomes more logical.

The sessions will be interactive, and you'll go away with a clear roadmap of what you need to do in order to get your ads running, and delivering in the way that you want them to.

To get the most from this workshop you'll ideally need to have a Facebook Ad Account set up, but you don't need to have done anything else.

Session 1 - Thurs 13th May, 11am - 1.30pm

  • Why you should be using Facebook Ads
  • The difference between Ads Manager and Ads Centre, and Business Manager and Business Suite
  • The difference between boosting posts and setting up ads from scratch (and which is appropriate for your business)
  • The tech - what the pixel is, why you need to install the pixel and how to read its data

Who's this for?

This workshop is for small business owners who want to understand how to advertise on Facebook and Instagram effectively.

Your small business must be registered with Companies House using a London address or be able to provide proof of a trading / office address in London.

We'll require you to submit your company number as part of the short onboarding survey which we'll send to you by email after you've registered for a free ticket on Eventbrite.
