Creative Design Hack - Make London Better 2019
How do you make the creative industries more sustainable in London?
Loughborough University London is teaming up with London College of Fashion, University College London, Birkbeck, University of East London and London South Bank University to invite a number of students to help solve this challenge.
Teams will compete to win part of the £3500 total prize fund.
1st place = £2000
2nd place = £1000
3rd place = £500 (or £100 per student)
This hackathon will offer students and recent alumni the opportunity to come together to learn, create, test, prototype and present their ideas to do something amazing and tackle some of the big environmental challenges facing London. The best teams will walk away with a substantial cash prize.
We're looking for creative people with a passion to learn and share knowledge and skills. This will be a fantastic networking opportunity to meet like-minded students from world leading universities.
Teams will be formed at the start of the hack on 25 January 2019. They will need to get moving quickly with their ideas in order to submit by the Saturday deadline. Don't worry though there will be workshops, mentors and industry experts on site to help guide you to solve this challenge posed by the Mayor of London.
You must be able to attend both days to take part in the hack and you must be a Loughborough University student or alumni (graduated within the past 2 years).
