Enterprise through events
As a student with us, you will take part in a varied programme of events and activities, and will be inspired by academics, creatives and professionals from a range of disciplines and sectors.
Influencers and professionals regularly deliver guest lectures as part of your taught programme, as well as extra-curricular workshops and skills sessions. These insightful events are always well attended and are an excellent way of gaining an insider’s perspective on working life with a particular discipline or sector.
As well as hosting events on campus, many of our partners offer site visits to their offices or headquarters. These opportunities offer you the chance to witness the inner workings of various businesses and organisations, so that you can discover the type of working environment that would best suit you.
Loughborough University is renowned for hosting the biggest one-day University careers fair in the UK. The Graduate Recruitment and Placement fair includes stalls from over 200 exhibitors and attracts over 6,000 students every year. Students from Loughborough University London will be able to book a free return coach service to attend this free event.
As well as access to the UK’s biggest careers fair, you will be invited to attend a range of networking events for students to engage with employers and build confidence liaising with industry professionals. These informal sessions are often held after teaching has finished, and are a great way to practice interacting with new people and sharing ideas.
